How to get started on the 21 day fix

It's Friday! Wooo hoo! I get a long weekend too! The last few days have been crazy hectic. I signed up to be a coach for beachbody and put a little blurb on Facebook about my testimony in the program and I've had so many people contact me with questions. This is like a dream come true. I've always wanted to help people in this area but thought I had to have my act together 100%.  Honestly, I don't. I still want to eat a juicy burger. I still want to sleep in and skip a workout. But that is not what makes a good coach. A good coach is made by one who can stand next to a person going through a program and say, "I know exactly what you are going through!"
A lot of people had questions about the program so I thought I would give out some information and then I promise some other good stuff will come from this blog. I'm making a really awesome dinner tonight and I can't wait to share it with yall!

Here is a sneak peak of PART of my breakfast! I still can't believe how much food I'm able to eat!!!! Steel cut oats, half a smashed ripe banana, 1 teaspoon almond butter, sprinkle of cinnamon (1 yellow, 1 purple, 1 tsp). SOOOO DELICIOUS and filling!

21 day fix.


On May 19th, I joined a challenge group to do the 21 day fix. I was super leary about it because I've tried to many different things. It isn't that other programs haven't worked, it's that I've always given up before I ever see good results. I talk myself out of them that the pizza and ice cream are so much better than being fit and healthy.  Well, I got invited to this challenge group and immediately i saw that giving up and cheating would not be an option. I wanted to results. I wanted this time to be different.
A little background with me. I'm obsessed with my body image. I'm so insecure with myself. I have had a yo-yo body. I eat and exercised based on the way I feel that day. I had a habit of stepping on the scale every day. Sometimes even more than that. I valued myself based on how the number on the scale was. I was constantly depressed as the number would go up. To add on top of that I was recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism.  I constantly had no energy and was not able to lose any weight no matter how hard I tried. I got on medicine and for several months I thought it was working. I still had very little energy and was feeling depressed, anxious, and not able to lost any weight.
I saw that several people on my facebook were doing this 21 day fix thing. I was seeing their before and after photos and they were so impressive. 3 weeks for those results! That's nuts! As I am a compulsive buyer, I bought the program and got some shakeology.
I'm 10 days into the program and I'm almost thinking I need to cut down on my thyroid medicine. I have so much energy I don't know what to do with it all. I'm drinking shakeology everyday and exercising every day. Before I always came up with an excuse (usually that I didn't have the energy) to not exercise. Now, exercising gives me energy.  I feel like I stumbled upon gold!.  WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT THIS ACTUALLY WORKS?
I signed up to be a coach. I am a BELIEVER! I want to share this with everyone I possible can. I eat really well. Actually, I'm eating more than I have before! my abs are coming in too! I'm going to have a 6 pack here soon! AHHHH!

I can't wait to share my before and after pictures! You are not going to believe them! I didn't have much weight to lose, but I needed to tone up some areas!

Doritos

So I'm attempting to start a blog once again. I said to myself today, "hey, I want to be one of those chicks that people want to hear about!" What am I kidding myself? I'm not any different than anyone else. I'm just a plan Jane girl who lives in a small Florida town with nothing better to do than busy myself with rewriting down my thoughts and feelings. It just happens that my thoughts and feelings are a little disturbing. A little about me. I'm an awesome wife! Haha I should just stop there cuz that's a lie. I'm an okay wife with lots of problems. Sometimes I think I drive my husband to insanity. There was this one time when i told my sister that my husband had a crush on her. he really never said that. he said something along the lines that he thought she was pretty when he first met her and i twisted it around in my head and chewed on it for a while and decided that it was indeed a crush. like i said....awesome wife.
 Second, I'm a. Hairdresser, an awesome hairdresser. Haha I need to stop again. I'm okay, I try hard and am always pushing myself to learn but I've jacked a couple heads up before...but it makes for a great story...but a sorry paycheck. I love learning new tips and tricks and love to share them to make every one's life easier. Who doesn't want awesome looking hair?
Third, I'm a shopaholic. The first step is admitting. The second step is to hide all your credit cards and forget where they are at.  But thank God I've completed the first step. 
Fourth, I have this never ending battle with trying to get/stay in shape.  I love too cook and workout! You can join my battle with me and together we can sit on the couch, eat Doritos, and read how I did it.
